Morning Star Lavender Japanese Incense - a familiar feminine fragrance.
The fragrance of calming Lavender – derived from Lamiaceae, a flowering plant of the Mint family. Native to the mountainous areas around the Mediterranean, it also grows widely in sunny areas in Europe, Australia and the USA. Our home area of the Isle of Wight features a Lavender farm – we are known for our sunny climate after all!
The Latin origin of Lavender (lavare) makes reference to the Roman use of Lavender in baths as a preferred cleansing agent. In aromatherapy and herbal remedies Lavender is strongly associated with the promotion of relation and sleep.
Karen @ Vectis Karma says "I find this fragrance to be feminine, traditional and very familiar. I detect that the high quality of the source Lavender is revealed by its subtle fragrance delivery. Another favourite in the Morning Star range of pure fragrances.”
